Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordon will be on You Tube till August 12th to answer questions from YouTUbe users about common stereotypes the rest of the world see and hear about the arab world, bridging the way the world sees Islam and the arab world unfiltered and unedited

 

Islam is probably the most pressured and distorted religion by media and political forces. On TV and in Movies Muslim Terrorists are the bad guys, suicide bombers, hijackers while American Marines and Special forces are the good guys. People like George W Bush and Tony blair mislead the people cunningly giving out an image that muslims are nothing but savage voilent people that beat their wifes, while they fullfil their hidden agnedas. when a non muslim commits a crime they dont mention his/her religion. but when a muslim commits a crime they emphsize alot on the wrong doers religion. This is the stereo typing of todays sociaty.

 

This is truely a great oppertunity for people, especiallly non muslims to raise their doubts about the arab world and Islamic laws, to ask these questions from the queen. Its very rare to see political leaders and especially royalty reach out to people like this. i wish our country had leaders like Queen Rania.
